Nem Calvert
Hi I’m Nem and I’m the Web Assistant for SSAGO. This means that if you have any tech questions from the discord to event websites, I’ll probably be the one to help you out. I’m also working with Abi the Digital Assistant on updating all of the technology involved in running SSAGO.
I first joined Girlguiding as a Rainbow when I was 5 and moved up through Brownies, Guides and Rangers as well as being a young leader at Brownies. I joined SSAGO when I was doing my undergrad in Physics at Leeds. I then moved to Liverpool for my MSc in Medical Physics and joined Scouts. I’m now a cub leader in Liverpool. I’ve been in SSAGO since 2017 and have had a variety of roles in that time including, treasurer and SSAGO Rep of LUUSAG, secretary of LUSSAGO, logistics at RoG, Welfare and Accessibility of Centenarally and “Guardian of the Discord” for the past few years. You might find me at events with my mascot: Jam the Strawberry who always likes to make new friends.
